Cyclone Alfred - Communication & Lab Update

We hope that all of our valued customers in the QLD area are currently safe through this difficult period.
As with all business’ in QLD at present, Agrifood is closely monitoring the weather situation and adhering to the government recommendations to ensure all of our staff remain safe at this time.
In terms of what this all means for your samples and test results we want to let you know that Agrifood has been taking measures to safeguard the laboratory to ensure your samples and test results will still remain intact and not compromised. The laboratory is running on generator power to safeguard against any loss of power that is expected as a results of Cyclone Alfred. This will get the laboratory through the peak period of the storm. Incubation periods for the samples have been altered to take into account the times when staff cannot be present at the laboratory as it is unsafe to be there.
Following this period, once safe to return Agrifood staff will return to business as usual activities and we will work to clear the backlog of result reporting and release of results for all of our customers.
